Patients who suffer from chronic migraines are a tricky subset of patients to treat. Often the medications used to treat migraine and chronic pain can perpetuate the problem.
If you refer a patient to one of our clinics a neurologist will clinically assess your patient and current medications. If indicated, they will be treated with a well-known injectable medication that is now available on the PBS for the treatment of chronic migraine by neurologists.
